Dorset County FA is inviting nominations for the Spencer Miles Memorial Cup - a special award for somebody who has given a minimum of 10 years' service in any role to Dorset Grassroots Football.

All nominations must be received by Sunday 30th June 2024, with the DCFA Awards Evening taking place on Thursday 25th July 2024 at Hamworthy United Football Club BH154BF, commencing at 7.00pm.

We would be grateful if nominators could confirm that their nomination is available to attend the DCFA Awards Evening.

A little information about Spencer Miles...

Spencer Miles began his journey in Dorset Football by organising the Burton Bradstock Boys team in 1977, whilst at the time playing for the senior team. He was later elected as secretary of Bridport FC, a position that he held for eight seasons.

Spencer joined the Dorset County Football Association in 1988, and after 20 years of service he was made a honorary life member. In 2015, Spencer was awarded the FA’s Long Service Award. 

As a person he always showed great integrity when dealing with football matters, and was, and is a true gentleman of Dorset football.
